Insight Organization as an overall system like all species of living organisms, with structures in it. As there are a lot of functions in a body to continuously adapt to changing environmental conditions in order to survive and grow, it takes complicated and complex structure within it. The whole system works together to overcome the challenge—to survive and to grow. The bigger the challenge, the more complex structure it needs. While survival and growth depend on their intelligence to sustain a viable state of physical, intellectual, emotional & spiritual fitness, so too the survival and growth of an organization depends on its capacity to sustain profitability and growth through management and business processes that stimulate the delivery of performance result and provide a competitive source of livelihood for its employees and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with its suppliers and creditors, the regulating institutions and society at large. The extent to which operations can do those things continuously is in the hands of the significant few people at the top who play significant roles of determining what are the right things to be done and then get them done in the right way through the right people in the most cost-effective manner. Thus, achieving sustainable and profitability growth—not just profitability—should be the ultimate goal of the leaders of the organization. |
